EGO cast-iron solid electric hot plate, 180mm diameter, 2000W at 230V, part number EGO 12.18463.194 – also listed under 12.18474.040, 18.18463.194, 18.18474.040. Supplied from stock in Doha by EKT (Elegant Kitchen Trading) for restaurants, hotels, central kitchens and catering operations across Qatar.

The plate fits electric ranges and boiling tops from the major European catering brands, using the standard 4 screw-clamp terminal block and an 8mm stainless steel spill ring, so it drops straight into the existing cut-out with no modification.

Before You Order – Voltage Check

230V version: single-phase connection. Do NOT connect a 230V plate across 400V – it will burn out immediately. The same plate is also available in a 400V version – check the rating label before ordering.

Installation

• Isolate the appliance from the mains before removing the old plate.
• Connect the 4 screw clamps exactly as the original wiring, using heat-resistant cable.
• Controlled by a 7-position cam switch – replace a worn switch at the same time if the old plate failed from overheating.
• On first use, heat the plate at low setting for a few minutes to burn off the protective coating (light smoke is normal).
• Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or catering equipment technician.

Yes, if it is one of the numbers in the table above. They share the same 180mm diameter, 2000W, 230V, 4 screw-clamp connection and 8mm spill ring.

Why does my EGO number start with 12, 15 or 18?
EGO uses different prefixes for revisions and series of the same plate. All numbers in the table above share the same size, power and voltage and are interchangeable.
