Overview

The PID 30 is a double professional induction hob with two 3 kW generators, two removable filters and two fans. Roller Grill rates component life beyond 15,000 hours and allows eight hours of continuous full-power use without an automatic shutdown — the point where most light-commercial induction units cut out.

Key features

• Two 280 x 280 mm multi-point zones taking pans up to 28 cm diameter.
• Two independent 3 kW induction boxes, each on its own 230-240 V cord.
• Efficiency above 95%; 1.5 litres to the boil in about 2 minutes.
• Eight hours continuous at full power without automatic shutdown.
• 20 power levels, calibrated in 25-50 W steps, on a capacitive front panel.
• Glass ceramic plate with no mechanical expansion to 700°C.
• Timer, power cutoff and digital display of level or time.

Installation and notes

Pans must be ferromagnetic and flat-bottomed — iron, cast iron, carbon steel or multilayer stainless. Aluminium, copper and glass will not work. Delivered without pans.
